BEMER to the Rescue!
Dr. Eng started using BEMER therapy to help me with chronic pain, TMJ injuries, neurological conditions, circulation issues, extreme fatigue, and a plethora of long-term conditions. I saw the value in her treatments and within days of purchasing my own BEMER mat so I could treat myself more consistently and continuously, I was seriously injured. I had a shoulder injury which caused acute pain accompanied by sharp, fire-like nerve pain shooting up into my neck and down my arm into my fingers. This past spring my daughter underwent jaw surgery to correct her underbite, where the lower jaw juts out past the upper jaw. The surgery went well and her bite appeared to be corrected. Over the next several months, however, we noticed that her underbite was returning and she was starting to develop neck pain and jaw pain. We spoke with the surgeon who stated that this sometimes happens and the solution was more surgery. Intuitively this did not make sense to me because she was initially corrected, had not grown any, and the plates from the surgery were still intact. Also I noticed that she seemed to be pushing her lower jaw forward, possibly to attempt to go back to the underbite position which I’m certain her body was used to for so many years. It seemed we needed to relax her and retrain her to keep her jaw in place. And this is exactly what Dr Eng was able to accomplish with the Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) treatments. Over the course of about 3 months of treatments, my daughter’s bite resumed its correct position and her underbite re-corrected. What was amazing was that once she landed where her bite was post surgery, it stayed that way. An Interesting Case
“The last thing you want to be in the medical field is an interesting case; I am an interesting case. I showed up on Dr. Eng’s doorstep in a terrible state after exposure to multiple toxins from a house fire and then RoundUp at the rental home.
I have multiple autoimmune challenges and I am extremely sensitive to pharmaceuticals and environmentals. Combine that with Lyme Disease, bilateral TMJ injuries due to closed head injuries, neuro fatigue and constant chronic pain, this makes me a hard puzzle to solve with traditional Western medicine.
Fortunately for me, Dr. Eng knew exactly what to do and had all the right tools in her Functional Medicine Practice.
